Default eBay cheaper than a skip??

I have just listed a pair of speaker cabinets cut for Lowthers:

They are toss useless (beautifully made though) and I will happily hand
them over for a quid - there's absolutely no room for them in my
garage/workshop and it's cheaper than a skip or dragging them to the tip!!

OK, after yet another pathetic 'can't make it tomorrow' email from the
buyer, I would say this has *backfired* nicely! I am now storing (FOC) a
pair of speaker cabinets and a Panasonic projector for buyers who have paid
but can't pick them up - take heed!

(The PJ guy *arranged* a half-term collection and is not in the **** with
me, the speaker guy is definitely getting that way.....)

Now I know why some sellers threaten 'storage charges' on transactions that
are not completed in a reasonable period!

We live, if only we (me, that is) could learn.......

:-(
