When I listen to a reverb effect in CEP2 it sounds just like I want it, but

Anyone else experiece this and how to fix it?!

Tom.

I asked a similar question a week or so ago about another CEP plugin.
I was told that CEP does not handle plugins at all well. I tried again
in Sound Forge, and the effect worked perfectly.

The effect worked nicely in "Preview", but totally differently in the
real situation.

Probably not the answer you were hoping for, but in all probability
the right one.

What's sound forge?

Another DAW, that seems to work rather better than CEP.

Hardly a DAW, just a wave editor :-)
Unlike CEP, not multitrack.

http://www.sonicfoundry.com/

Personally I've not had any problems with Cool Edit Pro though.

What I've heard is that the new version from Adobe doesn't suffer this
way, but it has certainly been confirmed by others that version 2
(which I have) is a problem for effects - plugin or otherwise.
