Hi,
Looking for some advise. I bought a 2006 Isuzu Rodeo new last year. I

live
in the Republic..
Now, the car has some issues, back axle issues, alloys peeling etc. The
dealer is ignoring me and washed his hand of these problems.
I know in the Republic there's a automotive association called "SIMI"

which
deals with matters like this.. Is there something similar in the UK/
Northern Ireland?

AA or RAC, but AFAIK they deal with their members only.

Contact Trading Standards in the town where the dealer is located -
townname.gov.uk will often get you the website

Are we? Does this mean you're going to pay for that help?

Pay? its a newsgroup!

If I were to pay for YOUR help you would have to be gairly good, and if you
were fairly good you'd be a consultant. but your not a consultant, and not
getting paid for it, its a newsgroup where people ask questions. SURPRISE
SURPRISE..

Its nice to see that you're finally getting in the know how on what exactly
a newsgroup is..

If only *you* were.
After a little experience of them you'll know to:-

Not top post. It's frowned upon. Check out what the most frequent posters
do.

Snip signatures. Your newsreader should do this for you if a decent one.

And if you insist on posting off topic to a group for any reason mark it
in the subject 'OT'. It will then be caught by the killfiles of those who
hate such postings.

And stop digging yourself in even deeper...

It seems rather strange that the OP posts to the wrong NG, then
complains that mild fun is poked. Would it not have been better for the
OP to post an apology after it was clear he's posted to the wrong NG?

Come on, get a life!

Me get a life?

Ha thats a joke! Surely you can see that this is a newsgroup I brouse quite
often and rather going to a newsgroup I didn't know, I thought it best to
send out a query to those I thought were helpful.

Yes it wasn't directed at car audio, but you need a car to put the car audio
in; So it is the same grounds. Its not as if I asked how to build a house.

Easy to hide behind a newgroup post acting all high and mighty.

so shut ya face tosser and get over it.

Are you going to tell us where you bought the car?

Your back axle problems will be due to your habit of driving in 4WD
round corners at low speed on tarmac. Everything else is probably
because you have shaken it to bits with your four subs and 3000w amp.
