I'm seeing 'current bid £200' - am I missing summat?

If that's right, that's surely not a lot of money - not that I believe
*industrial grade* necessarily cuts it in the home for *hobby* use, in
many instances....??

that most of this stuff will be abused and shagged?


Don't reckon it will be Don, it will have been made well in the first
place and knowing the BBC as they were it would have been well
maintained.

For instance we've just acquired a MBI series 16 desk for a local
community radio product and thats fine, and an Audix desk despite being
around 20 years old the insides look no different to the day it was
built and it too works fine

No real comparison between broadcast pro gear and the domestic run of
the mill stuff, with perhaps the exception of Quad perhaps

And the ex Red rose radio Spendor BC1's I have are early 70's and they
are in fine fettle

If you say so, but last time I was in a Beeb studio I saw a large part
of a cup of coffee go into a desk, followed by a quick wipe with some
Kleenex.

Even tho its not in the original spec..

A lot of that gear will be on interest to Video production facilities
and the like...
