Default Monitor Audio 1200/Gold speakers - parts available?

Hi, I have been given a pair of Monitor Audio 1200/Gold that wi would
like to repair and use. My repair guy tells me that he can use "after
market" or non-genuine parts to repair these however I feel it would
be great to loacte the genuine parts in order to restore these
fantastic speakers as close to their original condition as possible.

I need:-
1 x Tweeter diaphragm. G12/Gold H426-06 (or replacement tweeter)
2 x Woofer recone kits: MA 95 90 (Or replacement woofer)

Can you put me in touch with someone who might be able to supply these
or even just advise whether I am following the right path? Gear of
this quality I would not usually have the opportunity of enjoying so
I'd really appreciate any advice or contacts that can help me get them
running once again.

cheers,
Paul.

There is "someone" around who does these, sorry but I can't remember his
name or company now which isn't a lot of use. Try a posting to a Pro
newsgroup as these were much used as studio monitors a while ago!..

There are a few companys in the US mainly supplying the foam type
replacement surround kits (not original) if it's just the surround that's
gone. I've used a few of these and they have so far been successful. I
notice they now rate then by time. The superior kits lasting x many years
longer!

Though why some manufacturers used foam in the first place....

FWIW http://www.wooferrepair.com has an informative video on DIY at the
bottom of the FAQ page (/faq.html)

Repeat business?
