Default Ear pads for Sony MDR-v6 headphones

Does any one know where in the UK it might be possible to get
replacement earpads for these headphones? Mine are falling apart (a
common problem it seems now I look into it).

I can get beyerdynamic ones (p/n 942704) from B&H in New York but then I
am paying $35 shipping for a $20 part.

Thanks for any pointers.

Beyer spares should be available in the UK. Their pro stuff certainly is.
But Sony are usually pretty good with spares. Have you tried a Sony dealer?

If they are standard sizes, Maplins sells at least two sizes, otherwise Ebay

They're a regular item for film production audio dealers to have in stock.
Here's a company in the UK that has them - http://www.canford.co.uk/

Thx for the pointer - but I just bought the beyerdynamic 942704 from
Headaudio in Denmark. They arrived quickly and fit nicely.
