Default Musical Fidelity KW Transport

I recently purchased the Musical Fidelity KW transport and DAC, mainly
having read some great reviews.
The purchase was on a 30 day trial period which suited me better than a
shop demo.
Anywise, I took it back and exchanged it for the Leema Antila after a
week,
plus a large refund.

The MF sounded awful, worse than my Arcam FMJ 33.Female vocals in
particular sounded shrill.

So far the Leema sounds great.

Did I have a rogue machine, anyone else any experience of the MF set up?

I use the Musically Fidelity KW550 amp so I thought they would match up
wonderfully. Speakers are Audio Physic Avanti mkIII.

It feels strange to pay less and enjoy more.

Don't worry Jonathon, this guy's just an arsehole that likes to spend
his sad little ****in life winding people up.
