Looking for a CD to play this afternoon, I picked out The Trinity Session
by The Cowboy Junkies, something I haven't heard for months.
The sleeve notes say it was recorded live on 27th November 1987,
exactly twenty years ago today. Coincidence? I think not!

**Of course not. It was predicted by Nostradamus.

Read the following
http://mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/faq.birthdayprob.html

And extrapolate it a bit ....

If you have at least 23 live CD recordings, there is a better than 50%
chance that two are recorded on the same date in different years (or
matches some other prechosen date in different years)

I'll leave the matching of years as an exercise for the reader (as I've
been working hard today and my head hurts)

:-)

I just took 20 coins laid them down in a row. The head/tail sequence
was

HTHHTHTTTHHTTHTHHHTT

the chance of getting this exact sequence is i 1 in a Million

Amazing eh?

Robert
