Yes, the 'height' for me is the bikes from the 50's and 60's and there's tons of them about for damn good money significantly *not* spewing oil everywhere! The only difference in the drip trays for 70s cars and bikes is that the ones for cars were quite a bit bigger! (Doesn't run either atm, but let's not get into that!! ;-) |

Yep - the quick/obvious solution that allowed the Japs to play all sorts of games with main bearings, but not an absolute necessity with modern materials and machining capabilites! |
