** I reckon you are on one *hell* of a long shot there.

How about you measure the DC resistance on the primary - plate to plate &
screen to screen - and post that info along with the dimensions of the
units ( inches or mm).

Gives us big clues as to the likely impedance and power handling.

Suitable tubes to use will then become evident.

Also (to add to Phils suggestion) if you have a low voltage source of AC
(say a heater transformer) you can get a better idea of the actual turns
ration and coupled with the DC measurements it will give even more
information.

If you have (say) 6.3v AC. Apply this to the plate to plate terminals
and measure what you have on the 0-15 ohm taps, and between the UL taps.

It may not be the most accurate way of doing it, but it avoids the
chance of unexpected high voltage.
