The idea behind this one is that the recorded material is instantly
available to the Avid (or Apple, or whatever) suite, so the on-board
screen is largely irrelevant - only the cameraman will use this box,
and he has his on-camera monitor screen so he can frame his shots. The
whole thing is about workflow, which has literally days hacked off it
in movie situations. No more waiting for dailies to see whether you
can tear the set down etc.
Indeed. It has taken the "rush" out of "rushes" :-)
