Default The end of analysis.

Science is over. That's why there appears to be nothing to
talk about, save for the munching of tedious detail, which
is just more nothing to talk about.

This is where analysis got us in the end. Now, if analysis
is the fount of all we feel able to call knowledge, we know
everything.

Anyone who wants to "stir things up" and also stay on topic
must think of a valid new perspective, and convert a few
keen audio types to a different way of making progress. If
we aren't moving forward, we're going backwards.

The key problem facing the intrepid revolutionary, other
than having a worthwhile revolutionary thought to start
things off, is how to pass the level guardians. We couldn't
have got where we are today without the analytical
engineers, so they're quite right to stand their ground.

If you're stuck in a rut and not making headway, then do the
opposite. That should lead to revolution, maybe? Analysis is
true enough, except it doesn't recognise that it's opposite
is equally so. The same can be said of it's opposite, it
seems.

A domestic audio system is a musical instrument.
"Distortion" is a misnomer. It's not a recording, it's a
live performance. Accuracy is not fidelity. All false, all
true...it's an historical struggle towards understanding.

I wish I could read and write Chinese, coz that's where the
zeitgeist's gone, presumably.

This is no time for idle banter. Either we grasp the nettle
or we'll be overrun.

Ian
