I'd have thought you'd have got much more - was it on Ebay? Trouble
with HF 1300s is there are many many varieties. And that's before you
do individual selection as the BBC used to for the LS5/1.
Not Ebay - somebody wanted some, and I just hazarded a number. They'd
been in a box on top of a wardrobe for thirty years.
I didn't know they selected them for the LS5/1. Certainly KEF had to
select the woofers just to get the resonance frequency within +/- 5Hz
of the right frequency.
I assume they're selected because the ones I saw had a BBC sticker on them
with the resonance frequency too. Probably because there are two to handle
the level?
