Default dab station?

Noted the other day a weird station on DAB at least here in London. The
sound on there is like a loop of distorted crowd noise and a ticking
metronome.

No sign of it here in Corby, Northants.

How many DAB ensembles do you receive down there Brian?

Using an Acoustic Solutions SP110 tuner connected to the aerial
distribution system in our sheltered housing complex I can get three
with an Error Rate of zero.

Ensemble Block Transmitter
BBC National 12B Peterborough
Digital One 11D Peterborough
NOW Cambridge 11C Madingley

During the hot weather a couple of months ago when there was a lift on I
picked up some london ensembles; Capital radio etc but it didn't last
long.

The radio spectrum here is quiet, no pirates and no interference or
multipath on FM is noticeable. One of the many benefits? of being in the
sticks and living on the edge of the Big Flat Bit, or East Angular as
some refer to it..
