It makes a change, now and then.
Here in Oz "Phil baiting" was considered a sport at one
stage. That is, until he proved to be so predictable it
ceased to be fun. Pavlov really didn't need dogs, just
Philthy ;-) Ring his little bell and he just blunders in,
potty mouth ablaze.
As long as we all know exactly what
he is and that he can be safely ignored as and when we
choose, it is
fine.
That is the way to handle it. He is only a menace when
anyone actually takes him seriously or stops treating him as
the joke he really is.

BTW we all should know when we have won the point/argument
as he resorts to cut 'n' pasting his abuse or starts to
repeat himself.
