Default Cordless headphones suitable for line-output

I use a pair of Sennheiser HDR 140 (Cordless) but the
transmitter input impedance is not given in the printed
specification. They have On/Off sw, channel input
selector, balance and gain controls on the headset.

Unfortunately getting any kind of useful technical spec
with any consumer product these days is near impossible.
But the OP can rest assured that the input impedance of a
cordless headphone transmitter will be high enough for
his requirement.

The Sennheiser analog wireless phones come with a input cable with RCA plugs
on it. I found no difficulties when I plugged thyem into a splitter on
lines leading into the aux input of a stereo receiver.

The digital versions of these phones do have a specified input impedance -
32 ohms, and a different sort of input configration.

Unless they are the extremely cheap ones I encountered a few years ago that
is, made by some outfit I've never heard of called Brazenoze or some such
stupid name.

Is your worry about having the volume control on the phones? Line out
will be constant I'd imagine.

Cordless phones *will* have a volume control on the phones themselves.

David.
