When he was with the Beatles [hoho] he did some good stuff, after they
split up he was just another day.
In the early days, the Beatles were such tits in front of an interviewer's
microphone it is easy to underestimate just how good they were as a rock and
roll band, especially on other people's material - The Beatles Live At The
BBC (Disk 1) has some damn fine lesser-known trax on it:
