Can anyone identify this 1960s (?) recording, a few phrases
of which were used in the British TV series Heartbeat?

It's not on the double Heartbeat CD.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Heartbeat-Go.../dp/B0000253PD

Amazon has several other CDs from the TV show so you could search the
track lists.

Thanks, Eiron. I had an e-mail from someone
who thought it might be the UK group "Bad Manners"
but it seemed a bit too early, and a bit too sophisticated
for them:-)

You're welcome. I found it interesting to know what sort of show you
record after your comments about all the quality TV you get abroad. ;-)

The neighbour's children enjoy Heartbeat
(mainly for the music, their Dad likes the Wolseley cars:-)
They recorded a repeat, and asked me to ID some of
the the music. This was one tune I could not place.

Thanks for your help

Iain

Good excuse - but would children know *any* of the music?
