Strange occurence at 3 am....

Brian, thanks for your suggestions but as the problem only manifests itself at 3 am and then only for a few minutes, I'm not going to pull it all apart to experiment with it. I've got to the stage with the various systems that they have all become a mystery to me (to many possible connection combinations) and I wouldn't know how to recreate them!! :-) Keith..
