Any experience of Quad service much appreciated. Or even
recommendations for alternative service agents for Quad.

Yes, I've just had my 66 CD and 66 Tuner repaired by them. I contacted
them by email - got a response with 4 hours and took them in. They were
back with me in approx. 10 days (but they did say this can vary
according to their workload). They called me to discuss what work was
need. Very happy with the result.

I have also always found them very helpful. I've reported in another thread
my recent experiences with 2805 speakers. (Still working fine after they
sent the spare parts to arrive at 9am on the day after I contacted them!)

Some years ago I also had a regulator IC fail in a CD67. Again that was
repaired quickly.

Slainte,

Jim

Many thanks everyone for this information - glad to see that they are
still so good. My last repair with them was of my 606 and that is how
they performed then, pre IAG takeover.

I will get in touch with them about my 44.

Miguel
