No such issues with the old ESL57s.


And I have owned both.


Coincidently I recently listened to a pair of ESL57s (for the first
ime in many years) and pondered if there had been any real improvement
in speaker design in 50 years. ;-)

No. CD. Amplification was a Quad 303.
