I am very sad to tell you that Keith G,
one of the most prolific, and interesting
contributors to this NG, died earlier today,
after a difficult illness. He was 64.

Very sad news.
I saw Keith a while ago, soon after he became ill. Despite an uncertain
prognosis he was still his same helpful, selfless, supportive and
cheerful self.
I'll certainly miss his energy, insights and enthusiasm.

So very sad - and not a hint of his problems from him. Despite our many
spats I rather liked him.

I'll miss the old bugger.

I'd second that. Although we disagreed on many issues he was a real
character and this ng will be the poorer for his loss.
Rest in Peace Keith!
David.

Sad, especially for his missus (Swim).
He had his ideas and opinions, and he stuck to them. There's a whole
slew of assorted delivery men who will no longer be able to exclaim
over his full-range driver speakers.
I knew he hadn't been well, but I never knew it was this serious.
Great shame.

I am saddened by the news, it was I who introduced him to full range drivers
with the 'Needle' speakers in 2004 I was amazed when he went on to make a
pair of Buschhorns, not an easy job.
He certainly did stick to things and though I've not made many posts I
always read Keith's with amusement.
I was going to ask him what he thought of Mark Fenlon's drive units and
would he make some Frugal Horn Mk3's.
I will miss him.
Jim
My condolances to Swim

I'd like to add my condolences to Swim, and to record my personal sadness at
his passing. I visited his home a few years ago to hear his Horns/SETs, and
although not to my taste, I had to admire his enthusiasm for audio and
especially for DIY audio.
A nice man who made excellent bacon sarnies!

Echoed. I also had no idea he had become seriously ill. Sympathy to his
family.

Keith's enthusiasm for hands-on audio was a wonderful quality of his.
