Although, in fairness, people imbue all manner of tat with 'value' it
really shouldn't have - expensive watches, cars, houses, carpets and so
forth.

Do you find that wool carpets give you a warm sound, while silk ones
sound cool?

I have a silk carpet that sounds cool in the summer and warm in the
winter.
