The United Nations *Organisation* did not exist pre-1945.

But the name United Nations did exist pre-1945 and was the
official name of the nations allied against the Axis powers.

I have provided numerous examples of this name being used
to referred to the allied powers, even a key communique
issued on the eve of, and related to, the Normandy Invasion.
