One of the more bizarre listings IME. Not only broken, but likely to
break again sometime soon.
But someone *might* want it (perhaps for spares), so why not take a
punt on listing it?
Personally, I'm very impressed by the detail and honesty with which it
is described. I wish more stuff on eBay was described so honestly.
Thank you. That was my point entirely.
To me, now that I've digitised all my vinyls*, it's just outdated
technology, and I wouldn't buy it. But either because they want to
digitise their vinyls, or because they want to restore either their
own 601 or my one, someone may want it, and rather than just bin it,
it seems worth the minimum auction charge to find out.
They may just like the sound of LPs :-)
Although there are no bids as yet, it does currently have a surprising
number of watchers, and although from experience I know that not all
can be assumed to be potential bidders, at least some probably are.
I'm sure it'll sell. I just think you've laboured not only the point
about how bad you think it is, but how awful it will continue to be.
Really no need IMO.

* Isn't the plural of vinyl vinyl, and not vinyls?
