I have a pair of Royd Coniston speakers. The front covers are made of
foam, and are starting to disintegrate into a crumbly black mess.

Any suggestions on how to get or make replacements?

Thank you very much, I'll have to see if I can find a similar thing in
the UK.

Wilmslow Audio was the phrase that came to my mind. But when I had speakers
with foam fronts that fell apart I simply replaced them with thin cloth on
a frame.

If you can't get foam replacements - and foam isn't easy to work at home -
you could make up a wood frame and cover with speaker fabric. Attach to
the speaker with velcro. Wilmslow Audio offer such a service if you don't
fancy DIY.
