Default Behringer Q502USB

Hi,

I have just acquired one of these little mixers and I must say that so
far I'm quite pleased with it. I have downloaded the ASIO driver from
their site and installed it into Win7pro but when I try to record into
Adobe Audition I get light clicking, either on record or playback or
both, which sounds to my ears like a clocking issue.

At present I'm just using the standard, on-board Realtek HD sound
device, with the most recent drivers, and up until now this has been
quite adequate.

Of course if I revert to MME and record through the analogue line input
everything is click-free but I would really prefer to use the
Behringer's AD converter.

I could try an external USB sound card but my instinct tells me this is
a software config issue... I seem to remember seeing a setting
somewhere, either in Windows or Audition which allows you to stipulate
what to use as a clock source, but of course now I need it I can't find it!

I've applied to join the Behringer forum, but in the meantime does
anyone here have any experience/advice please? Is there a way to have
this set up so that everything is clocking properly, and if so, what's
the trick?

Thanks in advance for any useful tips...
