I'm currently doing occasional 'batches' of LP - digital transfers.
This is enjoyable as I keep finding discs I'd forgotten about, etc.

Not Technics, but I see that Linn are quite particular about which oil
goes in which type of bearing. It appears that they have used 2 different
liners, and one of the oils (that they supply!) will partially disolve it
into a sticky goo.

It might be as well to try to find the correct oil - if it's still
available. It probably won't be as expensive as printer ink.

Picked up on this quite late, so it has probably been
answered, but anyway, what about sewing machine oil?
