Default Apple headphones?

Does anyone find it strange that Apple is buying a headphone company?
I've not heard anything good about Beats. Are they better than Bose?

:-)

Well, maybe they want something stopped before it gets out. Whose Headphones
do Apple supply?

Are Beats any better than those horrid i-thingies that send more sound
through their backs than into your ears? I did actually listen to some
Beats that were on a demo stand in a local shop, but the thud thud thud
noise was nothing that I recognised as music so I couldn't judge.

Perhaps they'd have sounded better with their other ends in your ears? :-)

I have this vision of an apple, the tree growing kind, sliced down the
middle with one half on each ear.
Could be good to make a novelty headphone that looked like an apple with
the wires coming out of there the stalk was.

If any of you make this, I want a cut of the profits.
