More car audio than Hi-Fi, but any suppliers of speaker grill cloth other
than the usual suspects like Wilmslow and Falcon?

Ideally a plain light/mid grey material. Closest I could find is more of a
charcoal.

Needs to be the usual strong but slightly stretchy stuff.

Or is there a generic fabric that would be ok?

Any leggings or stretch top from Primark.
Plenty of colours and patterns to choose from.

I did wonder about a Lycra type material. But proper speaker fabric tends
to stretch a little then becomes 'solid' as it were. So that it can be a
nice tight fit, but extends a degree of protection to the units. Also has
to be the exact plain colour to be better than what I have at the moment.
