Oddly, the 580s in the UK seem to more expensive now than the 600s. I've
been looking for a pair of 580s, and a few months back they were
available from a few places for under 100 quid. Now they are about 150
almost everywhere, while the 600s are available for about 130, but I
can't find the URL where I found them at that price at the moment. I'll
post it when I lay hands on it. Superfi have the 600 at 159 pounds and
the 580 at 159 pounds. Could be something to do with the 650 being
released?

580s are more efficient, most other differences are AFAIK cosmetic.
