I think I have a review of the 250 somewhere, but have not yet been able to
find it. The following comments are therefore based on my recollection and
as such should be treated as unreliable! I may be thinking of a different
amplifier.

My recollection is that one review found the 250 to show some instabilty
with some loads. This surprised me as the valve amps were well designed in
this respect, hence it has stuck in my mind. Can't recall anything else at
present. Also bear in mind that such reviews often contain errors of
'fact', so even if I am recalling correctly, the 'instability' may have
been due to an error by the reviewer.

Sorry I can't recall anything more useful. If I can find the review or
other info I'll reply again later...
