Yup - and were best matched to a medium compliance cart. Like the Goldring
G800H etc.
The Goldring G800 was a popular choice for the Garrard SP25
in the good old days. It sounded curiously wooden.
I preferred the Shure M75 (when cheap and nasty was all I could afford.)
