Folks,

Does anyone know if the CD72 will play re-writeable audio CD's? (CDRW)

Yes, mine does.

I don't have an Arcam player. However in my experience with other audio
players, the results also depend on:

1) The 'brand' of CDRW or CDR

2) The device used to write to the CDR/W

Thus I suspect the answer may depend on the above...

I have two prof Denon studio CD players, which are extremely
picky. They will play any commercially produced CD, but are
sometimes not so happy with CD-R.

I have found that they both accept TDK CDR-R, and perform
better with recordings made on a dedicated audio CD recorder
(HHB CDR 830) than those burnt on a PC.
