Default Arcam's old CD72 (playing DIY CD)

Folks,

Does anyone know if the CD72 will play re-writeable audio CD's? (CDRW)

I have a few re-writeable audio CD's which I compile and play before
finally burning the tracks to a normal audio CD (write once, CDR). The
re-writeable CD's play perfectly on my cheapo Sony 270 but will they on
a CD72?

If the CD72 will play re-writeable CD's reliably I would be interested
in getting one since it could save me about 200 pounds compared to
buying the CD73.

N
