Firstly Ill say I'm new to this, so go easy on me...

I really need to get a 4 channel amp to get the most out of my speakers, but
need a little help first.

My current Head Unit JVC KD-SH99R (I think) only has 4 regular speaker
outputs to connect straight to speakers. But, in the manual it says that the
built-in amp in the head unit, can be switched off if you connect to an
external amp. But I though you needed a direct connection with RCA cables
from the Head Unit to the Amp.

So is it possible to connect this Head Unit to an Amp, or do I need a new
HU?
