Default Amps and stuff...

If you shop around, you should find an amp with High Level Input.

You just hook up your current speaker wires to this instead of using an RCA.

But I recomend getting hold of a new head unit with RCA....

Firstly Ill say I'm new to this, so go easy on me...

I really need to get a 4 channel amp to get the most out of my speakers,

but
need a little help first.

My current Head Unit JVC KD-SH99R (I think) only has 4 regular speaker
outputs to connect straight to speakers. But, in the manual it says that

the
built-in amp in the head unit, can be switched off if you connect to an
external amp. But I though you needed a direct connection with RCA cables
from the Head Unit to the Amp.

So is it possible to connect this Head Unit to an Amp, or do I need a new
HU?

Thanks
