Default Speakers....

In ,
Tim S Kemp decided to enlighten our sheltered
souls with a rant as follows
Thinking of this. Focal Access 165A front, Focal Access 130AC rear.
Most of the time there's only me in the car but I always feel guilty
that the sound in the back of my cars is always crap for those times
when I have passengers...

Are the Polyglass range really worth the extra money? Because I could
go for the Polyglass 165 fronts and get cheapo kenwood / pioneer /
alpine / infinity coaxes for the rear doors...

I've got the same problem as you but in reverse. The Alfa uses 13cm
components in the dash, and 17cm jobs in the back shelf. The front ones,
despite being standard fit Alfa jobbies are actually pretty good, no bass,
but good for imaging because of their positioning and the well sited
tweeters. The ones in the rear are utter crap, but it looks like I've got to
remove the rear seat and shelf just to change the bloody things.

Don't know what to go for personally, but I'm looking at the Nakamichi
SP-S6500 for the shelf.
