Indeed. The Rameau last night was highly enjoyable. I can just imagine
something similar being performed at the French court of the time.

Yes wasn't it except I gave up with the radio version much too much
noise from the dancers, and switched to the TV version which now with
the visual content far better and the TV sound via SAT was rather good
at 256 K MP2..

Excellent prom otherwise I'd have gone if I could;!..

And then there's Wagner on 12th August to anticipate and many more to
savour ...

Indeed .. I believe they still have tickets, but I'd need a bloody
armchair for that duration!....
