It's funny because I have heard the same claim
on numerous occasions, and aways from people like
Dave, armchair experts who always think they know
better than the people who do this kind of thing on
a daily basis.


It stems from being allowed to get away with bull****ting for so long....


One can achieve wonderful results with a simple-pair
set-up in many types of recording. Unfortunately,big
band is not one of them.
