Ah, my mistake - there I was thinking your were wanking
on about *pro* gear in a *non-pro* newsgroup just to

Kitty yet again trying to invent his rules for this

for Usenet in general.
Uh oh, the Pooch is trying to hump my leg again..!!
LOL!
Interesting that Kitty had no problems at all when it was Iain who way
talking about pro gear.
Leads you to think that maybe what sets Kitty off is who is talking, not
what is said...
Partly correct, of course - when something as OT as a tedious reference to
the *pro audio* environment in the US is posted in this Brit enthusiasts
(recreational/non-pro) audio ng, it certainly does make a difference who is
posting it.
If the poster has 'been there' and 'done that' as Iain has (well documented)
it is a case of someone mentioning their loosely relevant personal
experiences to an audience who may (or may not) be interested, but in your
case, having never worked in the recording industry or even been paid for a
recording job in your life AFAIK, your largely Googled, cut and
pasted/linked postings are no more than puerile, bombastic irrelevance.....
Grow up....
