I'd be interested to know if anyone here has in recent years returned any
audio kit back to a UK maker for service/repair. And if so, how long the
process took, was the job done well, etc...

Asking because I've sent something back for service/adjustment/repair and
it seems to be taking longer than I'd expected. Back in ye olde days at
Armstrong we generally fixed/serviced sets sent back in no more than 48
hours!

This is something that audio mags generally don't cover as they just tend
to look at the items, not at reliability or service.
