Good Lord no! Did you hear on the news today that some football club
somewhere has just paid £50million for a player? It seems it's not only the
bankers that live in a different world to the rest of us.


Quite so, but that's getting beyond the realms of 'gullible'. He bought
that player because, more or less, he could. It's such an insignificant
part of his wealth. Quite what that gives him is difficult to assess.

And before Jim jumps in, I've got no intention of buying a footballer
thanyouverymuch :-)
