The input devices connected to the amp are my 'movies PC', my Technics FM
tuner and my Samsung Blu-ray player. The sound level is reduced on both the
tuner and BDP when I switch the telly on; I have not had a chance to check
what happens when the PC is playing.


Were you accidentally listening to the radio via
freeview?


No - Classic FM on an FM tuner.
