Silly design of speaker.
Having said that though, as I say, you get what you pay for and they are not

Silly design of speaker.
Well horses for courses etc. I'm only driving them with 12.5 wats a channel
valve amps so hardly going to get over stressed.

Not sure how one would get to the drive units on the dentons, they seem to
be sealed from what I can see.

Silly design of speaker.
The fronts are detachable so the unwary can damage the bass unit and small
children can poke things in the tweeter.
Luckily, I'll not be removing them and have no small children.
I do own a pair...

Yes well the terminals were obviously designed on these by one person, they
are of the sprung kind, and recessed, but then some idiot put the port on
the back. Like huh?

Silly design of speaker.
I bought some fairly cheap bookshelf two unit speakers, and they sound fine
as long as they are at least a couple of foot away from a wall as they have
a port in the back of the cabinet. However...

No the room has black out curtains. I'm thinking also about the ceiling. The
carpet is a little old now as well.

As long as it was a Russ Andrews Duvet it will probably work.!!
I'll have a listen, but I've often found ears hear differently to

My bedroom is almost square with one corner with an airing cupboard and the
next one sliced off by the chimney as it runs up from the floor below.

PS the fm programme is different for some of the day and the internet stream
for am is in stereo as well I notice.

Rowridge fixed.
Not these days. My aerial is in the loft and its been lagged so its a bit
like walking on sponge with hidden weak spots. you end up moving around on
your stomach and tracing the wire route by feel...

Rowridge fixed.
Chuckle, but the best effect I ever got with bad signals was to replace the
downlead completely even though there appeared to be nothing wrong with the
old one.

analogue in line level line out card we need but the one we have has a
fixed monitor level, and hence cannot be controlled...

Hi, our local Talking newspaper has a problem.
The problem is this. The sound hardware both in the pc and the cheap
Behringer box have got a fixed level monitor of the input, not even mute
works...
