Default fibreglass mould fabric

Hi all. Can somebody tell me what fabric is used in fibreglass
installs to provide the shape of the mould, ie the face of the mould,
where the ring to hold the sub or whatever is? I've seen references to
fleece? and old t-shirts and in max power etc, where they staple or
glue to the front of the enclosure then soak it in resin but they just
say mould fabric. What are they talking about? Is there a special kind
of fabric or just any old cotton fabric will do? TIA

I don't think it's too critical, you just need something fairly thin &
stretchy so a normal cotton t-****y might not be ideal.

Steve.

I achieved good results with Lycra. Fleece is better as it doesn't tend to
expand much when wet like most other materials.

I haven't had any problems with the stuff I use. I do stretch it really
tight though.
