Default Advice

Alright,

Big Newbie here so please bear with me.

I have a 97 Ford Fiesta which has a factory fitted Stereo (its much
bigger than a standard stereo) and also has 2 moulded speakers in the
front doors.

I'm looking into getting a 2nd hand MiniDisc player (with MDLP).

What I'm asking is how easy is it to connect up a new Stereo (its the
electronics bit im most concerned with) bearing in mind I have never
done anything like this before?

I have a number of questions:

a) - How can I remove the original Ford Stereo, are there tools
avaliable

b) - How easy will it be to remove the original ford speakers? Can I
just use a dremel to remove them or is there an easier way? If its too
difficult how likely is it that I could connect them up to a new
stereo (obviously being aware that the quality wont be as good
compared to new speakers).

c) - if I purchase second hand (which is likely) what do I need to
make sure is included. I keep seeing things like "cages". If they dont
come with the stereo are they easy to get hold of in another store?

Thanks for helping the newbie

Dv
