Check the fuses for Ign and B+ in the car and any in line fuses to the unit

I have a Kenwood KRC391 Head Unit and 6 Disc CD Changer, I have had to
change the CD lead as I broke the old one and now the cd resets back to
Disc 1-Track 1 every time I switch the ignition off then back on.

Anyone any ideas whats wrong or if there is some sort of setting on it for
it to remember the last track played and carry on from where it left off
when it was turned off? It worked fine with the old lead connected until I
crushed the connector.
