Default Anyone seen, demoed or own a Parrot RHYTHM N' BLUE?

My Saab has a Radio cassette, so time for an upgrade.
I was going to build another CarPC, but as a classic Saab it is too good
to hack about.
I could easily just plug in another ISO fit stereo, the Philips Pro
40watt RMS are old but sound OK, and my Nokia Bluetooth headset bit the
dust about 6 months ago.

Was thinking about a Parrot CK3100 + Sony compatible MP3 changer to go
with the Sony XR-C420RDS currently fitted, but the Parrot RHYTHM N' BLUE
looks to have just about everything I could want in one place.

Just need someone who seen or played with one to give me some ideas as
to the quality.

Reading the press release on Parrot's website, it only launched on the
14th of last month, so I'd suspect it won't be available anywhere for
a while yet.

Don't suppose you have seen one demoed at the trade shows then?

To be perfectly honest, the first I knew about it was your post. When
I first saw it, I thought it was a hard disk unit, which would have
been pretty interesting. Looking into it though, it doesn't really
seem to offer much (other than price, but you'd expect that given that
it's an area where they have no track record) over the Pioneer
DEH-P70BT. It's also worth bearing in mind that new mainstream ranges
will start appearing early in the new year. I'd be very surprised if
we didn't see a lot more Bluetooth units appearing then.

Yep, me too.
In fact, after finding the Parrot unit online, but not finding any in
stock anywhere because it was so new, and them stating it was "the
worlds first" somewhere, I was surprised to find the Maplin were selling
pretty much the same thing, but by Nikkai, and without the convenient
Key pad on front, for £79.99 as a clearance line. MP3/CDR/RW/AM/FM and
Bluetooth hands free.

Some headsets cost more than that.

I will be glad when Bluetooth handsfree becomes a standard headunit
feature too, it has been pretty standard or a dealer fit integrated
option better cars for a while now. And the Borg look is all very well,
but when your headset gives up just after a year, it can get pricey.
