In most locations a good outdoor FM aerial will make FM almost hissless!... Now if you want real Jazz etc a digital satellite receiver and an aerial, 60 cm dish will do, on Eutelsat or ASTRA on 19 east will provide some excellent Jazz sources. Try a post to alt.satellite.tv.europe for more info, or look it up on www.lyngsat.com and search out 13 and 19 east as well as good Jazz there will be Bayern from Germany at 256 K/bits to hear what the BBC *could* have done with digi radio:-(( Shouldn't cost you that much either hundred quid or so..
